Connie Coultrap and Associates offers a broad range of interior design
services from facility master planning to unique designs for individual
offices. We provide the coordination of architectural and design
services to streamline the construction of spaces. This coordination
results in projects that are completed on time and within budget.
Services provided to the client include any or all of the
following:
SPACE PLANNING:
* Measure existing space
* Interview key people to
determine space needs and workstation requirements
* Study the relationship
of people and function to the space they will occupy
* Design alternative
space plans reflecting:
-Maximum space efficiency
-Increased staff productivity
-Cost-effective implementation
* Develop a budget for
furnishings and interior construction
WORKSTATION STANDARDS:
* Create typical
workstation designs for each job category
* Specify space
allocations, finishes, size, and type of furniture necessary for each
station
FURNITURE SELECTION & CUSTOM FURNITURE DESIGN:
* Tailor casegoods and
seating to specific needs (i.e. nurses’ stations) or job category
* For custom pieces,
choose materials and construction methods to:
-Control costs
-Insure aesthetics
* Utilize existing
or refurbished furniture where applicable
* Provide
manufacturing recommendations, specifications, and pricing
* Procure /
supervise installation
FINISH SELECTION and SPECIFICATIONS:
* Select interior
finishes options and review with customer
* Write
specifications and finish schedules
* Provide
procurement and installation services as needed at client's request
* Assemble
presentation board with samples and pictures of specified items
ARTWORK, PLANTS AND ACCESSORIES:
* Identify artwork
in keeping with the client's image, building, and budget
* Create an
environment with plants and accessories to reinforce the client's desired
climate
* Specify
appropriate window coverings including decorative treatments
* Provide
procurement and installation services at the client's request
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION:
* Assist with
bidding process
* Manage
sub-contractors
* Answer questions
during construction and furnishing installation
* Provide field
solutions to problems as necessary
* Check finishes,
interior details and casegoods for accuracy
* Evaluate and
process all change orders
MAINTENANCE AND POST-OCCUPANCY EVALUATION:
* Provide color
notebook for client's future reference
* Recommend
procedures to extend the life of interior materials or equipment
* Answer any
questions on design or specifications
* Conduct one year
occupancy walk-through and review
* Provide cleaning
and maintenance directions for all finishes
* Provide fire
ratings for products
